In collaboration with ILO ACTEMP, the Federation of Swaziland Employers and Chamber of Commerce (FSE&CC) has launched a National Business Agenda for Swaziland.
The Business Agenda themed 'Growing Swaziland' guides the work of the FSE&CC Board of Directors and the Secretariat of the FSE&CC in their advocacy work for the period of 2013-2015.
The Business Agenda, Growing Swaziland seeks to address four fundamental impediments to business activity and economic growth. These are grouped into four broad categories:
- Law and Regulatory Reform
- Skills Development
- Public Private Dialogue
- Fight against corruption
These are further grouped into immediate, short term, medium term and long term. In developing the business agenda we have mobilized members of the FSE&CC who came from various sectors of the economy, from large corporates to small and medium enterprises. The process has been a consultative and representative undertaking.
